Here is one of three methods to clear this annoying message. If it does not work, the Service Desk will have to Wipe the Cache on your device or Reset it to Factory Defaults.

METHOD 1: CLEAR APP DATA

  1. This method involves the clearing of the data of two apps. First, access Settings on your phone and then access Apps.

  2. Look for Phone and then select it.

  3. Select Storage
  4. Select both the Clear Data and Clear Cache options.
  5. Now repeat this procedure for Sim Toolkit: select Storage, then Clear Data and Clear Cache.

This should clear up the “Unfortunately com.android.phone has stopped” error, but if you keep getting it, please let us know via this ticket or by creating one.
